Welcome!

This website provides access to test results from the SENTRY Antimicrobial Surveillance Program from the United States for the years 2002-2008. The SENTRY Antimicrobial Surveillance Program is directed by JMI Laboratories (JMI) and all microbiological data contained on this website is maintained independently by JMI.

You may use this interactive site to view the MIC test results and interpretations of 23 antimicrobial agents that are effective in the treatment of gram-positive pathogens. To begin, select a gram-positive pathogen of interest and any subsets of this pathogen based on a susceptibility profile. Listed below are the pathogens surveyed and made available for these reports. After selecting a pathogen, a wizard will guide you through selecting a United States region(s) and surveillance year(s). Click here to begin.

Pathogen   Available Subsets
Staphylococcus aureus   methicillin-susceptible (MSSA) or resistant (MRSA)
coagulase negative staphylococci   methicillin-susceptible (MSCoNS) or resistant (MRCoNS)
Enterococcus spp.   vancomycin-susceptible or non-susceptible
Streptococcus pneumoniae   penicillin-susceptible, intermediate, or resistant
